These terms govern your use of DadTales. By using DadTales, you agree to these terms.
Service
DadTales helps parents and caregivers create private family stories using text generation and consented family voice samples.
Parent-Operated Use
DadTales is designed for adults. Parents and caregivers are responsible for creating accounts, recording voices, managing story content, and playing stories for children.
Account
DadTales accounts use parent-owned authentication. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and deleting voice samples you no longer want DadTales to use.
Voice Consent
You may only record, upload, or render a voice if you are the speaker or have explicit permission from the speaker. You may not use DadTales to impersonate another person, deceive others, or create public content that suggests a person said something they did not authorize.
AI Content
DadTales may use AI to generate story text and render audio. AI-generated content can be imperfect. Parents are responsible for reviewing generated stories before using them. DadTales is for family bonding and entertainment, not medical, sleep, developmental, or therapeutic advice.
Subscriptions
DadTales Plus may be offered as an auto-renewable subscription. Payment is charged through the App Store. Subscriptions renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple account settings.
License
DadTales uses Apple's Standard End User License Agreement unless a separate custom license is provided in App Store Connect.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use DadTales to create content that is unlawful, harassing, sexual, exploitative, hateful, violent, deceptive, or harmful to children.
Deletion
Parents can delete local data and request account deletion from the app. Account deletion removes voice samples, derived voice models, stories, generated audio, and account data unless limited retention is required for security, fraud prevention, App Store purchase accounting, or legal compliance.
